Simulated 5K run

I got my heart rate monitor gear all fixed and I got a chance to hop on my elliptical.  1.5 miles at 5.0 mph and 1.6 miles at 6.0 mph.  I did this at a difficulty of "3" on my elliptical.  I generally consider a difficulty of "4" as approximately the difficulty of running.

My heart and lungs were fine with the workout.  My legs disagreed.




This chart shows that I only spent 4 minutes running at a heart rate into zone 4 with none in zone 5.  This was an "easy" run for my heart.
